St. Mary's School relies on services from our families to keep tuition costs low and provide a variety of activities for our students. There are a variety of capacities in which your help is needed.
All parents whose child(ren) attends St. Mary’s School are required to give service time to the school or parish. It is REQUIRED that each family donate at least 25 hours of service per year. Relatives are welcome but must be adults, 21 years of age or older. Workers must sign in stating their name and the name of the family who is to receive credit for the hours worked. School families may NOT transfer service hours to other school families.
All volunteers are required to attend a VIRTUS training session on child protection. In addition, all volunteers must have a criminal background check conducted by the Archdiocese of Washington. Click on the subject matters below to receive information about volunteer opportunities, VIRTUS training and the fingerprinting process.
All volunteer hours for 2022-2023 must be fulfilled by May 31, 2023. (Note: 8th grade parents must have their volunteer hours completed by May 19, 2023.)
